Media in ancient Egypt

Media in ancient Egypt was represented in statues, obelisks, religious buildings like temples. They were decorated with the achievements of the Egyptian king. The facades of temples were decorated with smiting scenes depicting the king punishing enemies to show the Egyptian people that the king was able to protect them. Also walls of temples were decorated with the military achievements of the king to commemorate himself in front of his people. Obelisks were inscribed with the important achievements of the king or queen. Scarabs were used as media to show the people the important achievements of the king and to commemorate him. This role appeared during the reign of king (Amenhotep III of the 18th dynasty) when he used scarabs to commemorate his achievements, especially those made to his wife queen (Ti).
